How many bags can Calvin carry???
We woke up today at 5am hungry. With the limited options open we decided to try sukiya, a 23 hour gyudon restaurant (a Japanese dish consisting of a bowl of rice topped with beef and onion). It was a 4/10 but at least it filled our stomachs. We walked back to our Airbnb which is only a 5 minute walk and went right back to bed.
We officially started our day at 8am and hopped on a train to an udon noodle restaurant called Hanamaru Udon. Hannah said the tofu was amazing and rated it a 9/10 but she only took a few bites. To me it was an average bowl from a chain restaurant.

Then the shopping started. We took a train to Harajuku a popular shopping district with just about every brand you can think of having a storefront. We first met up with our friend Rachel to make custom converse at white atelier by Converse. While the shoes were being made we walked the streets for 4 hours visiting any store that caught our eye.

We stopped at coachtopia and got Hannah a new card holder and that’s when I broke it to her that her old one was put through the washer and dryer a few months back. We then proceeded to collect bag after bag trying to get more stylish contrary to the comfort clothes we packed for our journey. The answer to how many bags I can carry is 8 but i'm sure we will laugh at those rookie numbers in the coming days as we are working towards enhancing our wardrobes to match the stylish natives.

We are winding down after a long day of walking and plan to go out again tomorrow to explore more of what Tokyo has to offer. I'll be spending the rest of the night working on some much needed enhancements for the blog so keep your eyes peeled.
Edit 1: all photos are now clickable to view the full image. Edit 2: added youtube embed so we can add videos to the blog. Edit 3: added postcards feed to mock twitter for small updates.
